CONTROL A/C & HEATING
A/C running but not cooling?
Simple observations to make before calling for A/C service, without opening equipment.
Call 972-937-7721Check the thermostat
Confirm that the thermostat is set to cooling and that the target temperature is below the room temperature. Note any blank display or error message. Avoid changing several settings at once; the original symptom helps the technician.
Look for airflow obstructions
If your filter is safely accessible, inspect it according to the equipment instructions. Use the specified size and suitable filter type when replacing it. Keep furniture and belongings clear of supply registers and return grilles. Do not open electrical or equipment access panels.
Stop when there are warning signs
If you notice ice or water leaking from the indoor unit, turn cooling off at the thermostat and call for service. Do not chip ice off a coil or repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. If there is smoke or fire, leave the area and call 911.
Tell us what you noticed
When you call, share whether air is coming from the vents, when the problem started, the thermostat reading, and any unusual sound or visible water. Call 972-937-7721. Emergency calls are accepted 24/7; call to confirm availability.
