CONTROL A/C & HEATING
Why is one room warmer than the others?
How airflow, ductwork, and the room itself can affect comfort.
Call 972-937-7721Notice the pattern
Write down which room feels different and when. Does the problem appear in the afternoon, after a door closes, or whenever the system runs? These details help narrow the evaluation.
Check what you can see
Make sure furniture and curtains are not blocking the room’s register or a return grille. Inspect a safely accessible filter according to the equipment instructions. Avoid closing vents elsewhere as a quick fix; the system needs an appropriate airflow path.
Look beyond the thermostat
Uneven temperatures can involve duct problems, equipment operation, insulation, or the room’s heat gain. Turning the thermostat lower may cool the rest of the house without addressing the reason one room stays uncomfortable.
Ask for an airflow evaluation
Control A/C & Heating offers duct repairs and airflow improvements. Describe the room and the pattern when you call. We can discuss an evaluation before recommending a change.
